I have a Printing on T-shirt Workshop coming up next Saturday, June 16th. It's definitely running, but there's still a couple of spots available for those of you that are curious about screen-printing.
You can find registration information here Lillstreet Textiles Arts. For those of you that are already registered, here's a link to some tips on image preparation.
Gearing up for the workshop made me think of a cool little company that I stumbled upon during my last visit to New York. They are Gnome Enterprises and they're based in Brooklyn. I purchased the following shirt from them at the Holiday Market in Union Square.
Their T-shirts are witty and they appeal to my nerdy sense of humor. They are great examples of what you can accomplish with just one or two colors and a strong design. I think it is really difficult to pull off such simple designs. The pros always make it look easier than it is.
